PRIZES
Every year, the Graduate Division awards over $17,500 in prize money to our graduate student presenters.
Preliminary Rounds
Each of our 8 preliminary round winners receive $1,000 and advance to the Final Round to represent their disciplinary grouping. The runners up in the preliminary rounds also receive $500, and the rest of our presenters get a $25 gift card. Additionally, every preliminary round presenter will receive a professional recording of their talk and branded swag (mug and canvas tote).
Final Round
In the Final Round, our Champion receives $2,000, two Runners Up receive $1,000 each, and our People's Choice winner received $500. Plus, our Campus Champion goes on to represent UCSB in the UC-wide Grad Slam competition (date TBD).
